The Office of Student Involvement provides outreach based on a number of targeted student populations.  Specifically, we would closely to ensure that first generation college students, students who are out-of-state, and students who identify as LGBTQIA+ are supported and have access to proper resources while attending The University of Alabama.  Through our outreach endeavors, we currently oversee the following programs and or outreach avenues.  In addition to those broad areas, we provide support to the Honor Society Application process, UA Homecoming, and special graduate student programming.  For more information about our targeted outreach for first gen, out-of-state, or LGBTQIA+ students please reach out to our Assistant Director, via the Contact Us page.
