The Co-Curricular Engagement Grant Program seeks to provide small grants funds to students who can provide need based rationale and information on how involvement in their particular opportunity would benefit their student experience at The University of Alabama.

Grants will be awarded in the amount of $150 or less (at the cost of the actual expense).  Students are eligible for no more than $150 in an academic year and can request for up to 3 opportunities on one application.  If there are multiple involvements that as a student you wish to apply for that totaled less than $150, then they would can submit the request, but should list a rationale for each experience.

Applications will be reviewed and scored on a rolling basis.  For questions, please contact Dr. Rosalind Moore-Miller in the Office of Student Involvement (rlmoore@ua.edu) or 205-348-6114.

Applicants should be prepared to provide the following information:

  • UA GPA & Overall GPA
  • Description of the opportunities and how they benefit the student’s UA experience
  • Rationale for need of funding and supporting documents and/or description
  • A description of their current campus involvement
  • Cost of each opportunity
