Organization Take Over

Each year, we partner with The University of Alabama Student Center to host Organization Takeover, an exciting event designed to continue the momentum of Get On Board Day (GOBD). Held immediately after GOBD each fall and spring, Organization Takeover provides student organizations an opportunity to take over The UA Student Center and host activities such as:

• The organization’s first meeting
• A meet-and-greet with prospective members
• Additional Tabling
• Stage/Performance Showcase

Organization Takeover is FREE for both organizations and students to attend. The event will be held in the UA Student Center, and schedules will be posted after the registration deadline.

How to Attend

Students wishing to attend Organization Takeover simply need to show up at The UASC at the event time in the Ballroom. 

Reasons to Participate As an Org

1. Get great exposure for your first meeting
2. Capitalize in the energy and excitement from GOBD!
3. Have a time for your members to reach prospective members who are interested in joining your cause and learning more about your org.
4. Show students what you are all about by hosting a performance!
