Summer Peer Advisors

Capstone Center for Student Success (CCSS) Peer Advisors (PAs) work alongside CCSS Academic Advisors during Bama Bound orientation to prepare new freshmen for their first year at The University of Alabama. PAs develop leadership and mentoring skill sets while helping introduce new UA freshmen and their families to the Capstone Culture. PAs are assigned to an Academic Advisor and serve in a support role during Bama Bound. PAs present information to new freshmen and their parents, conduct tours of CCSS, and answer questions related to UA, general advising, and other CCSS services. PAs will work 20-25 hours per week during May-July 2021 and are expected to be present for all Bama Bound sessions.

Requirements
Any Sophomore student with a GPA of 2.75 or higher
